Meridith Baer Home Staged the 2020 GRAMMY Awards
Meridith Baer Home staged the GRAMMY Awards for our second straight year, furnishing the dressing rooms for host Alicia Keys and this year’s showcase musical performers!
Building on last year’s success, we designed all the artists’ spaces with their unique style and character in mind, making sure each was comfortable, functional, and beautiful.
Alicia Keys
For the evening’s host, we created a bold, elegant space with extra seating for visitors and guests. A monochrome palette with gold, fur, and geometric accents lent the room an earthy glamour, complementing the R&B icon’s personal aesthetic.
Ariana Grande
We wanted the pop singer’s dressing room to feel girly and flirty, yet still refined. Grey, pink, and cream hues made the space feel feminine while a plush faux fur rug and mirrored coffee tables brought chic elegance to the space.
Billie Eilish
Billie’s room needed to feel young and rebellious, but still polished. We chose orange as a bright punch color, knowing she likes bold shades, and peppered the room with edgy accessories for an appropriately alternative effect.
Demi Lovato
We designed this space to feel intimate, classy, and fashionable. Zebra accent benches brought a touch of pop edge to the room while an indigo sofa lent it a calming depth, making it an ideal place for the singer to relax and prepare for the stage.
John Legend
We styled this EGOT winner’s room with one word in mind: debonnaire. To that end, we used a dark palette with sumptuous velvet, leather, and mohair accents to bring a rich, rustic, masculine feel to the space.
Lizzo
Lizzo’s space needed to reflect her unique mix of femininity and power. We used soft textures and rose gold, grey, and cream hues to make the room feel welcoming while bold lines and shapes provided exquisite edge.
Meridith Baer Home congratulates all the GRAMMY Awards nominees and winners. We were thrilled to be part of the evening!
