Staging an Eclectic Brownstone on Doctor’s Row in Brooklyn
Meridith Baer Home is best known for our singularly elegant transitional and modern staging, which transforms empty listings into chic homes that inspire buyers to bid fast and high.
Occasionally, we’re asked to work in other, more eclectic design styles, and we always enjoy the opportunity to create more adventurous interiors.
In that spirit, our latest showcase home is this newly renovated brownstone on the coveted Doctor’s Row in Brooklyn.
The historic Bed-Stuy townhouse spans almost 5,000 square feet across three floors, with multiple parlors, a formal dining room, and four bedrooms—all of which we staged for sale.
We used curved lines, bold accent colors, and rustic details to lend each of the home’s sitting areas a vibrant, fashionable, and almost Bohemian feel.
In the bedrooms, we used more subdued tones, lush suedes, and textured rugs to create tranquil spaces that feel inviting without compromising the rest of the brownstone’s eclectic flair.
We staged the $3,950,000 listing for Christine Blackburn, Compass.
