Introducing Georgie Hay – New Interior Design Director
We are delighted to welcome Georgie Hay as our new Interior Design Director. With over 20 years of experience creating interiors that are inviting, timeless, and luxurious for esteemed clients including celebrities, athletes, and business executives—Georgie brings a wealth of expertise and a fresh perspective to our team.
Georgie’s journey is as inspiring as her creations. After earning her bachelor's degree from UCLA, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in ballet and modern dance. Eventually, she returned to Los Angeles to further her education at the Professional Interior Design Program (PIDD) at UCLA. She has been an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) for 15 years, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and industry engagement. Inspired by a mix of nature, history, foreign travel and art, Georgie infuses these influences into her work, creating spaces that are both timeless and eclectic.
Georgie has held senior designer positions at prestigious interior design firms across San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Indian Wells, and Los Angeles. She is experienced designing styles ranging from Modern,Transitional, Mediterranean, Mountain-Modern and Traditional European. Georgie excels in creating interiors that are not only beautiful, but also resonate profoundly with those who inhabit them.
Her design philosophy is a collaborative approach centered on active listening, allowing her to deeply understand clients' desires and translate them into spaces they will love for years to come.
"I strive to create interiors that reflect the client's personality and lifestyle, resulting in a space that feels authentically theirs," Georgie explains. We are excited for the creativity and passion she brings to Meridith Baer Home and look forward to the extraordinary spaces she will help create for our clients.
