Meridith Baer Home recently staged this gorgeous Fifth Avenue coop on Manhattan’s Upper East Side—already in contract!

Perfectly situated across from Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the residence is on the seventh floor of a prestigious 1926 apartment house, uniquely designed in the style of an Italian Renaissance Palazzo.

With nine sprawling rooms and three exposures, the apartment evokes the grandeur of a bygone era, with tall ceilings, a gallery built to display a collection of fine art, and front bedroom views of the landmarked facade of the Met and the Koch fountains.

ARCspace

Meridith Baer Home Furnished ARCspace – Modular Living in Downtown Los Angeles

At Meridith Baer Home, we’re always looking for ways to give back to our community.

Los Angeles has a homelessness crisis, and in the past, it’s been our honor and pleasure donating furnishings to shelters and transitional residences.

Recently, we had the opportunity to contribute to a new, exciting, and innovative solution to the problem: the ARCspace modular home project downtown!

ARCspace

Often made from repurposed shipping containers, modular homes provide easily constructed, affordable housing for communities in need. ARCspace is a four-unit complex located in the Arts District, all assembled on-site in just two days.

Industrial and minimalist from the outside, we wanted ARCspace’s interiors to surprise visitors with their luxuriousness. To that end, we layered each home with chic furniture, rugs, art, and accessories until it looked lush and inviting.READ MORE

NoMad, Manhattan

Staged and Sold for $100,000 Over Asking in NoMad, Manhattan

Meridith Baer Home is now offering luxury staging in one of Manhattan’s hottest downtown neighborhoods, NoMad—and our debut there just sold for $100,000 over asking!

NoMad is named for its location: north of Madison Square Park. The area rose to prominence as a Gilded Age hub for high culture, theatre, and nightlife, attracting New York elites such as Oscar Wilde, J.P. Morgan, and Thomas Edison.

West of Broadway, it also hosted a seamier scene: Satan’s Circus, a checkered network of brothels, betting parlors, and bars with shooting galleries.

NoMad, Manhattan

Diverse and historic, the neighborhood is experiencing a resurgence as a cultural hotspot, with fine restaurants and trendsetting hotels, year-round art exhibitions and summer concerts in the park, and the city’s fastest growing community of creative and tech firms all flowering within its borders.

NoMad, Manhattan

We staged this beautiful corner apartment in one of NoMad’s boutique contemporary buildings, just one block from the park. The home boasts floor-to-ceiling windows revealing captivating views of some of NYC’s most iconic structures, from the Flatiron Building all the way down to One Word Trade.READ MORE

Meridith Baer Home and Compass at the 26th Annual Rodeo Drive Concours D’elegance

Meridith Baer Home partnered with premier real estate brokerage Compass yesterday, furnishing their lounge space at the 26th annual Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance in Beverly Hills!

A Father’s Day tradition, the car show features beautifully restored classic cars and new luxury models, all parked along iconic Rodeo Drive for auto enthusiasts to admire and enjoy.

The show draws over 35,000 visitors each year and has been named one of the “300 Unmissable Events and Festivals Around the World” by Frommer’s.

This was our second year furnishing Compass’ sponsor booth at the event. We installed two full living room vignettes complete with sofas, chairs, tables, and rugs. Amidst the cars and crowds, the lounge became a desirable place for attendees to relax and socialize.

Staging The Trevor House, a Carnegie Hill Mansion

Staging The Trevor House, a Carnegie Hill Mansion

Meridith Baer Home recently staged the Trevor House, an historic 10,000+ square foot mansion for sale in Carnegie Hill, one of New York City’s most elite neighborhoods!

Located on the Upper East Side, the area was named after iconic industrialist Andrew Carnegie, one of the first of The Gilded Age’s millionaires to settle there.

Bordered on its west side by Fifth Avenue, it boasts Central Park as its backyard, as well as many of Manhattan’s most ornate pre-war buildings, prestigious private schools, and exclusive boutiques.

Staging a Carnegie Hill Mansion

The Trevor House began its life as a nondescript brownstone neighboring Carnegie’s mansion. Bought in 1926 by philanthropist Emily Trevor, it was then transformed by famed architect Mott Schmidt into a luxurious Georgian-style townhouse which hosted many 1930’s New York society gatherings.

The home features four large levels of living space with an elegant marble-floored reception room, lush garden terrace, stately parlor floor landing, full-floor master suite, and more recent sky-lit media room.READ MORE
